When to see a Gynaecologist

Common concerns for seeing a gynaecologist include:

-  Heavy periods;
-  Intermittent or irregular periods
-  Bleeding between periods;
-  Abdominal or pelvic pain during or between periods;
-  Itching or burning;
-  Irregular discharge.

The following diagnostic tests may be carried out:

-  Pelvic examination;
-  Smear test;
-  Blood tests;
-  Ultrasound scan.
